Frequently Asked Questions
Sizing Your Sentry Ring(s)
How do I determine my ring size?
Download the FSF Ring Sizing Chart PDF and follow the instructions. You’ll need a ring that already fits your shooting-hand ring finger, or a strip of paper and a ruler if you don’t have one handy.
My printed chart doesn’t seem to match — what went wrong?
By far the most common cause is printer scaling. Most browsers and print drivers automatically shrink PDFs to fit the page margins, which throws off the measurements. Every page of our chart includes a small calibration bar near the top — before using the chart, measure it with a ruler. It should read exactly 50 mm (1.97″). If it doesn’t, reprint the PDF using your printer’s “Actual Size” or “100%” setting, and make sure “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit” is turned off.
What if I’m between two sizes?
Choose the larger size. A ring that’s slightly loose is safer and more comfortable than one that binds or is difficult to remove.
I ordered the wrong size — can I exchange it?
Certainly! Simply bring the ring back to the dealer and we’ll be happy to coordinate an exchange at no charge.
