Whitney D. –
I was an early adopter of the Free State Firearms original model, the Sentry 1911 Ultra. The gun works flawlessly and as designed. I own premium rifles, shotguns, and handguns and the quality behind the Sentry model is first rate. I was intrigued by the technology and believe the gun is perfect for home defense, particularly where minors may be around. Gun owners know kids will find and play with a gun in any home if they know it is there and the adults are not. I see the gun as being ideal for many situations where the owner cannot afford the have the weapon taken away from them which could lead to extraordinary, bad consequences – law enforcement, including those moving prisoners or those working patrol, air marshals, retired law enforcement working the front desk at a bank, and of course, homes with minors present. I like the idea behind this gun and technology and wanted to do what I could to help advance its acceptance in the firearms world – so I bought one. I encourage people to take a look for themselves.
